Fine German WineWeingut Schweinhardt
An up and coming star of the Nahe, Axel Schweinhardt crafts juicy confections of perfection to balance the sharp acidity and minerality found elsewhere. His red is a particular surprise.
2006 Kerner Kabinett, 2006 Langenlonsheimer Löhrer Berg Spatlese Scheurebe, 2005 Blauer Portugieser (red)
Staatsweingut Eltville
Storied Rheingau estate, and sole owner of the famed Steinberger site
2006 Steinberger Riesling
Bischofliche Weinguter
The Catholic Church-owned wineries of the Hohe Domkirche, Konvikt, and the theological Seminary own property on the Mittelmosel, the Ruwer and Saar. They have no less than six hectares of the legendary Scharzhofberg vineyard. The list of top-class vineyard holdings is almost endless, as are the passages through the extensive barrel cellars located below the city center of Trier. The list here is large, but alongside Scharzhofberg, the Church makes some fine Ruwer wines.
Long off the US market, Post is proud to offer these wonderful Riesling.
2006 Konvikt Eitelsbacher Marienholz Riesling
